Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the under-recognition, undertreatment, and accompanying disease burden of anemia in CKD, highlighting racial and ethnic disparities in treatment.
- Describe the pathophysiology of CKD-associated anemia and the HIF pathway’s role in erythropoiesis and iron metabolism.
